On January 13, 2020, a delegation of Japanese government officials, organized by China Public Diplomacy Association, pays a visit to Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY). The visiting delegation, led by deputy director of the Training Department of National Personnel Authority Suzuki Ryotar, consists of 16 officials from 14 Japanese government departments. The delegation members and Chinese experts have a communication on Belt and Road Initiative (BRI),Chinese economy and finance, China-Japan humanities exchange and other subjects.
On January 11, the 24th China Capital Market Forum 2020(CCMF) was held at Renmin University of China(RUC), Beijing. The forum was co-hosted by China Capital Market Research Institute(CCMRI),Guorong Securities and Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China(RDCY). Over 500 guests from central government departments, colleges and universities, research institutions, security companies and fund companies participated the forum and have a discussion on “China’s financial opening-up and capital market development ”.
2019 marks the 70 anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and China, and witnesses an increasingly mature China-Russia relationship. Leaders of China and Russia highly value the Belt and Road Initiative and Eurasia Economic Union, two major development plans in Eurasia, and vigorously promote the mutual complement between the two plans, “Connection between the BRI and the EEU”, setting a good example of mutual benefits and win-win cooperation in the regional economy.
"Chinese Think Tanks International Influence Forum in 2019: Chinese Thoughts and World Changes in the New Era" is held on December 17th, 2019, in Beijing,China. The forum, which gathers over 500 famous scholars, social celebrities and media workers to share views about Chinese thoughts and world changes in this new era, is hosted by Renmin University of China(RUC) and Guangming Daily, and co-organized by Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China(RDCY), Think Tank Research And Publishing Center of Guangming Daily, Academy of Contemporary Chinese And World Studies, China Net and Think Tank: Theory and Practice Magazine.
China's development has provided opportunities for the world, and the world needs China's experiences and contributions to achieve common prosperity and maintain multilateralism, experts and officials said at an international forum in Beijing. The purpose of China's development is to give its people a better life, ensure its security and earn it respect, Xu Lin, head of the State Council Information Office, said in his speech on Monday at the China and the World in the New Era forum, which was organized by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China. Experts and officials from China and abroad were invited to discuss the relationship between the nation and the world.
The Master of Contemporary Chinese Studies Program at Renmin University's Silk Road School (SRS) is a key measure by Renmin University of China (RUC) to actively support the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in an education context. Based on RUC's educational platform, international experience, and high-level think-tank resources, SRS is devoted to train scholars and leaders for countries along the BRI who are passionate about China, who are well-versed in key aspects of Chinese culture, and who profoundly understand the path, approach, and goals of China's development.
For the purpose of better enhancing mutual understanding between China and the international community, the International Symposium on "China and the World in the New Era" will be hosted by Renmin University of China, organized by Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY) on December 16, 2019 in Beijing, with the guidance of the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China. The symposium will invite a number of well-known Chinese and foreign experts to discuss the relationship between China and the world in depth, meanwhile contribute intelligence to build the more progressive and prosperous China and the world.
At the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Russia, in order to further promoting the Sino-Russia comprehensive strategic cooperation in the new era, and deepening the initiative of cultural exchange between China and Russia. Meanwhile for the purpose of jointing the "Belt and Alliance", the seventh China-Russia Economy Dialogue was successfully held on November 29th at the Suzhou campus of Renmin University of China. More than 100 representatives of the political, business, and academic community from China, Russia, Kazakhstan, and the United Kingdom attended the dialogue.
On the afternoon of September 25th, the first lecture of "The 70th Anniversary of the Founding of The PRC" series which hosted by Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies of Renmin University of China (RDCY) and Huanqiu Web, was held at RDCY in Beijing. And The series of lectures invited 13 authoritative scholars from Renmin University of China to sort out the 70 years' development history and changes, to appraise brilliant achievements and practical experiences, and look forward to the future.
On November 9th, the Third Annual Conference on Finance of Renmin University of China (2019) was held in Beijing with the theme of "Financial Opening-up and Great Change: Path Selection". The conference was hosted by Renmin University of China (RUC), and was jointly organized by the School of Finance, School of Business, School of Economics, Hanqing Advanced Institute of Economics and Finance, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (RDCY), Institute of Finance and Securities, and Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion. The conference attracted nearly 400 participants including the faculty and students from School of Finance of RUC and other universities, experts and scholars from social financial research institutions, and media representatives.
On October 25th, "One Belt and One Road (B&R) Studies" theme seminar and the release conference of "The Establishment of B&R Studies: Urgent Reality and Theoretical Necessity" was held in Beijing, hosted by Renmin University of China, organized by Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY) and Silk Road School, Renmin University of China. The conference was hosted by Wang Wen, the Executive Dean of the RDCY and the Deputy Dean of Silk Road School, Renmin University of China.
On October 21-23, the 15th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Conference (WCEC) was held in London, England. The theme of this conference is "The New World, New Opportunities for Chinese Businessmen", which attracted more than 3,000 entrepreneurs, government officials and scholars from more than 60 countries. Wang Wen, Executive Dean of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY) and Deputy Dean of the Silk Road School, Renmin University of China, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech at the conference. At the closing ceremony, the research report "World Chinese Entrepreneurs in the Era of Great Changes: From History to the Future" was released by WCEC and RDCY.
