He mentioned that the Belt and Road Initiative represents an unprecedented opportunity to strengthen global connectivity in the 21st Century, to foster development in all parts of the world and to create new forms of international cooperation, including multilateral cooperation, so needed in our era.

The country's seeing a spike in figures after many weeks of reporting small numbers of new cases. It is now registering dozens of new infections for the second day in a row.
