Speaker: Dr. WANG Wen is a Professor and the Executive Dean of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Vice President of Silk Road School, Renmin University of China. He is the most active and youngest person in charge of important think tank in China at present. Under his direction, RDCY has been on the list of “the 150 Top Global Think Tanks” by University of Pennsylvania for three consecutive years. Dr. WANG has visited nearly 100 countries (including South Pole) and conducted extensive researches and field investigations, met with Presidents and Prime Minister in more than thirty countries. He was co-chairman of T20 in 2016 and currently the managing director of the Silk Road Think Tank Association (SRTA).


Dr. WANG Wen is an influential think-tank scholar in China whose reports have been approved by Chinese policy-maker for dozens of times. Besides, he is now the consultant expert for several Chinese government ministries including the People's Bank of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce etc. In the year 2016, Dr. WANG was invited to be the one of the ten speakers to participate the symposium on philosophy and social sciences hosted by President Xi Jinping. He won the honor of “2014 Top Ten Figures of Chinese Think Tank”, “2015 China Reform and Development Pioneers”, “2016 Influential Figures of Chinese Think Tank”, “2017 Chinese Famous Academic and Cultural Scholar” and so on.
