编者按：2月22日上午，由中国公共外交协会、北京大学和中国人民大学联合主办的“对话合作，管控分歧——推动中美关系重回正轨”蓝厅论坛成功举办。国务委员兼外交部长王毅出席论坛开幕式并致辞。美国前财政部长亨利·保尔森，美国亚洲协会会长、澳大利亚前总理陆克文，北京大学校长郝平，美国史带金融财团董事长兼CEO莫里斯·格林伯格，中国驻美国大使崔天凯先后在开幕式致辞。

论坛设置了三场平行分论坛，分别围绕“重塑政治互信”“重建经贸均衡”“重启人文交流”展开研讨。

中国人民大学重阳金融研究院是本次论坛的主要承办方之一，承接大量会务与中外嘉宾邀请事务，并主持分论坛二。论坛以网络视频连线形式召开。政商、教育、文化、体育等40多位中外代表参加。这是拜登执政以来中国机构主办的第一场中美对话。以下为美国史带金融财团董事长兼CEO、中国改革友谊奖章获得者莫里斯·格林伯格的发言实录中英文版，后附此次论坛议程。

早上好！

谢谢各位的邀请，让我在这个场合表达一下自己的感想。

在今天的世界中，没有其他关系比中美关系更重要。虽然出于某种原因，中美关系已经脱轨，但是这两个国家均需要承认，两国之间的合作是克服现存困难的最好途径。

许多美国公司正在中国做生意，这让两国受益。美国史带金融财团已经在中国开展了超过一百年的业务，四十多年来，我本人也一直往来于中国。

如今的中国与我初次到访时所见到的有了很大不同。举一个例子，那时，除了中国人民保险公司，中国还没有保险行业。而中国人民保险公司在当时也仅为一个微型组织。过去，我自己创办的公司协助他们成长，并帮助他们了解世界层面有关保险行业的知识。我们训练他们的员工，如今这一企业成就了中国的一个主要行业。

多年来，我负责的组织还在中国拥有一个非常重要的投资组合。通过我们贡献的大量资本，它让许多初创企业受益。

我希望中美两国能继续让双方受益，不仅基于他们本国的利益，还基于许多其他的利益，而这隶属于两国国家利益的范畴。

感谢大家为我提供了这个在今早与你们分享我的想法的机会。

Good Morning –

Thank you for inviting me to say a few words at this event.

To begin with there is no more important relationship in the world today than the U.S. China Relations. For one reason or another it has gotten off track, and both nations need to recognize that cooperation between our two countries is the best way to resolve any differences that exist.

Many U.S. companies are doing business in China which have benefited both countries. The Starr companies have been operating in China for over 100 years and I have been going to China for over 40 years.

China today is much different from when I first went there. For example, there was no insurance industry in China except for PICC, a tiny organization at that time. My own company helped them grow and understand something about the industry on a worldwide basis. We trained their people and today it is a major industry in China.

Our Organization also had a very significant investment portfolio in China for many years. It benefited start-up companies by the capital that we had contributed to many.

I hope that both nations can continue to benefit from each other. Not only in their national interest but benefit many others as well. It is in the national interest of both countries.
