2021年7月7日，中国人民大学重阳金融研究院执行院长王文受邀在中巴建交70周年纪念会上发表主题为“兄弟携手，共创未来”的演讲。以下为演讲全文。

各位好，我是王文，中国人民大学重阳金融研究院执行院长。非常感谢邀请，让我在这么重要的论坛上发言。

时间过得真快，中巴建交70周年，中华人民共和国成立也接近72年了，可以说，中国发展的过程，伴随着中巴交往的过程。我们永远不会忘记巴基斯坦对中国发展的帮助与支持。

在中国，巴基斯坦人被称为“巴铁”，“巴”意味是巴基斯坦，“铁”是硬的意思，是为了表示两国关系牢不可破。过去70年，无论是冷战，还是国际金融危机，或者是近年来的各类区域风险，以及中巴经济走廊的建设，实践已证明，没有任何力量能够摧毁与冲击中国与巴基斯坦像“铁”一般的关系。

作为智库学者，我希望巴基斯坦的朋友相信，中国是支持巴基斯坦发展最真诚的力量。去年，新冠疫情，全球经济受到了重要影响。中巴双边贸易总额174.9亿美元，同比下降2.7%。但要知道，中国对巴出口下跌4.9%；但中国自巴进口却同比增长17.5%。自2014年以来，中国已连续七年保持巴基斯坦最大投资来源国地位，巴基斯坦也是中国在南亚地区最大投资目的地。中国在巴基斯坦工程承包业务量居南亚首位，全球前列。截至2020年底，中国在巴累计签订承包工程合同额855.5亿美元，90%以上都已完成，包括大量的港口、水电站等。我曾去过瓜达尔港，那里的发展已经非常有活力了，相信再过10-20年，那将是一座现代化的城市。

正如大家所知道，上周，我们刚刚过了中国共产党100周年的生日。100年来，中国发生了翻天覆地的变化。100年前，中国被许多列强欺负，差点亡国灭种，制造业方面，连一根火柴都生产不出来。

现在，中国是全球最大的货物贸易大国、全球最大的制造业大国、最大的消费市场、全球第二大经济体、人均GDP已超过1万美元。中国人能够实现飞跃，巴基斯坦人也可以。我对巴基斯坦充满着信心。

最后就是祝福，希望巴基斯坦的“一带一路”建设项目更好，希望巴基斯坦与中国有疫苗合作，早日度过新冠危机，我们能够面对面交谈；希望巴基斯坦年轻人报考中国人民大学丝路学院。更重要的是，希望中巴友谊万岁。谢谢！

Hello, I'm Wang Wen, executive director of Chongyang Institute, Renmin University of China. Thank you very much for inviting me to speak in such an important forum.

Time flies. 70 years passed since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan and the people's Republic of China has found nearly 72 years. It can be said that the process of China's development is accompanied by the process of China-Pakistan relations. We will never forget Pakistan's help and support for China's development.

In China, Pakistanis are called "Ba Tie", which "Ba" means Pakistan, and "Tie" means "iron" or means hard. The nickname "Ba Tie" shows that the relationship between the two countries is unbreakable. In the past 70 years, whether it is the cold war, or the international financial crisis, or regional risks in recent years, as well as the construction of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, historical practice has proved that no force can destroy and impact the "iron" relationship between China and Pakistan.

As a think tank scholar, I hope Pakistan's friends believe that China is the most sincere force to support Pakistan's development. Last year, because of the COVID-19, the global economy was seriously affected. The total bilateral trade volume between China and Pakistan was 17.49 billion dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 2.7%. China's exports to Pakistan fell by 4.9%; However, China's imports from Pakistan increased by 17.5% year on year.

Since 2014, China has maintained Pakistan's largest source of investment for seven consecutive years, and Pakistan is also China's largest investment destination in South Asia. China's engineering contracting business volume in Pakistan ranks first in South Asia and in the forefront of the world.

By the end of 2020, China has signed a total of 85 billion US dollars of contracted projects in Pakistan, more than 90% of which have been completed, including a large number of ports and hydropower stations. I have been to Gwadar Port, where the development has been very dynamic, I believe that in 10-20 years, it will be a modern city.

As you all know, last week, we just celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. In the past 100 years, great changes have taken place in China. One hundred years ago, China was bullied by many west powers, and almost went to extinction. In terms of manufacturing, it could not produce a single match.

Now, China is the world's largest country in goods trade, the world's largest manufacturing country, the largest consumer market, the world's second largest economy, and its per capita GDP has exceeded $10,000. I think, the Chinese can make a leap, so can the Pakistanis. I have confidence in Pakistan.

Finally, I hope we can pass the cororavirus crisis as soon as possible. We can talk face to face.Aslo, I hope young Pakistanis can apply for the Silk Road School of Renmin University of China. More importantly, long live the friendship between China and Pakistan. Thank you.
