In October 11th 2025, the "Mingde Strategic Dialogue 2026" was held, hosted by Renmin University of China (RUC), co-organized by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (RDCY) and the Global Leadership Institute of Renmin University of China.
Following the strong response to the inaugural event in 2024 and 2025, this year’s program once again brought together 16 scholars from the international strategic and academic communities from 10 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. They will travel first to Xinyu, Jiangxi, to explore the civilizational inheritance and mutual learning of Tiangong Kaiwu, then to Wenzhou, Zhejiang, to analyze the globalization of China’s economy, and finally to Beijing to focus on China’s resilient growth, jointly explore new solutions for global economic recovery and sustainable development, and contribute wisdom to building a fairer and more resilient international order.
The Mingde Strategic Dialogue series is a high-level academic exchange platform created by Chinese universities to contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind and to advance mutual learning and strategic trust between China and the world. It aims to bring together global wisdom to explore innovative pathways for China-world co-development, and to provide the international community with insights of both theoretical depth and practical value for understanding China’s development and participating in global governance.
