Introduction

In October 17th 2025, the "Mingde Strategic Dialogue 2025" was held, hosted by Renmin University of China (RUC), co-organized by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (RDCY) and the Global Leadership Institute of Renmin University of China.

Following the strong response to the inaugural event in 2024, this year’s program once again brought together nearly twenty scholars and experts from Europe, the United States, and Russia for field visits in Shanghai, Wenzhou, and Beijing. The delegation engaged with leading technology enterprises and innovation demonstration zones, and held in-depth exchanges with representatives from various sectors of Chinese society. Through these concrete actions, the Dialogue has built a candid bridge for strategic communication between China and the world, becoming yet another vivid example of global civilizational exchange and mutual learning.

The Mingde Strategic Dialogue series is a high-level academic exchange platform created by Chinese universities to contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind and to advance mutual learning and strategic trust between China and the world. It aims to bring together global wisdom to explore innovative pathways for China-world co-development, and to provide the international community with insights of both theoretical depth and practical value for understanding China’s development and participating in global governance.
