The Second China-LAC Roundtable on Human Rights

The Second China–Latin America Human Rights Roundtable will take place on July 25, 2025, in São Paulo, Brazil. It is co-hosted by the China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS), Renmin University of China (RUC), and São Paulo State University (UNESP), with the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at RUC (RDCY) and the Institute for Public Policy and International Relations at UNESP (IPPRI-UNESP) as co-organizers. The theme of the roundtable is “A China–Latin America Community with a Shared Future and the Development of Human Rights,” with three sub-topics: “Human Rights Protection in the Era of Digital Intelligence,” “Environment, Climate and Human Rights,” and “China–Latin America Contributions to Global Human Rights Governance.” Keynote speakers included:
