Mingde Strategic Dialogue 2024

In August-September 2024, the Mingde Strategic Dialogue 2024 was hosted by Renmin University of China (RUC) with its Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (RDCY) in charge of its implementation. Ten experts from countries such as the US, UK, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, and Italy engaged in in-depth exchanges with Chinese government representatives, enterprises, and the strategic academic community in Shanghai, Yiwu, Wenzhou, Beijing, and rural areas.

On September 3, 2024, Wang Gang (Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China) and Zhang Donggang (Chair of the University Council of RUC) participated in the conference titled 'Chinese Modernization and the Future of the World,' held at RUC with the ten international experts and eleven Chinese experts. The event featured dialogues between the international and Chinese experts, who also engaged with over a hundred students.

From September 4 to 6, some of the experts delivered lectures and participated in interviews at RDCY. Overall, the Mingde Strategic Dialogue 2024 offered guests an immersive experience through visits to enterprises, universities, and rural areas in China, enabling them to observe the vibrant economic scenes and unique urban cultures of China in the new era.
