2016年中国G20的趋势是怎样的?一图看博鳌,为G20的转型把脉。
G20 and T20
Since the onset of the 2008-2009 financial crisis, the Group of Twenty (G20) has emerged as the principal forum for intergovernmental economic cooperation. Together, the G20 economies account for 85% of the global economic output, 80% of world trade, and 65% of the global population. Members of G20 include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and the European Union.
The G20 has sought to incorporate policy contributions from an ever-broader cross-section of society, which are organized under seven groups: Business (B20), Civil Society 20 (C20), Think Tank 20 (T20),Youth 20 (Y20), Women 20(W20) and Innovation 20 (I20).
T20 was initiated during the Mexican G20 Presidency and continued during Russian, Australian and Turkish Presidency. T20 serves as an “ideas bank” for G20. For this purpose, T20 organizes the analysis of global think tanks and high-level experts in order to provide analytical depth to ongoing G20 discussions and produce ideas to help the G20 on delivering concrete and sustainable policy measures. T20 conclusions are presented to G20 working groups, minister committees and leader’ summit as policy-options, not recommendations.
T20 China
China will continue T20 since it assumed G20 Presidency on Dec.1st, 2015. Three think tanks (IWEP CAAS, SIIS and RDCY) will lead the T20 outreach group in 2016.
In 2016, T20 will hold debates and discussions about “Innovative”, “Invigorated”, “Interconnected”, and “Inclusive”, and provide related policy suggestions to G20 to help and ensure 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit fully deliver and implement its developing policy measures and G20 growth agenda.
The T20 China kickoff meeting in Beijing on December 14-15, 2015 marks the first G20 public event in China, which is set to reveal the preliminary plans for the 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit. It is also an important platform for worldwide think tank representatives to contribute their wisdom and thought for G20.
