编者按：2024年是中国和巴西建交50周年，国家主席习近平不久前赴里约热内卢出席二十国集团（G20）领导人第十九次峰会并对巴西进行了国事访问。12月3日，人大重阳邀请到巴西驻华大使高望（Marcos Galvão）做客 人大重阳区域国别论坛之大使系列第二讲 ，分享G20里约峰会和习近平主席访问的成果，解读并展望中巴关系的未来。现将讲座议程发布如下：

主讲人简介

高望(Marcos Galvǎo)自2022年8月担任巴西驻华大使。大使出生于1959年，1980年毕业于巴西外交学院里奥布兰科学院，并在美利坚大学（华盛顿特区）获得了国际关系硕士学位。同年，他加入了巴西外交部，先后担任过秘书长顾问（1982-1984年）和副参谋长兼部长发言人（1998-2001年）等职务；2016年5月至2018年12月期间，他担任外交事务秘书长；他还曾在美国、英国、日本等国担任相关外交职务。

Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY) has received massive feedback from embassies, enterprises, academics etc., since the first RDCY Forum for Area Studies, Ambassador Series was successfully launched in mid-November. RDCY will continue the positive momentum to deepen area studies, promote the understanding between China and other countries and strengthen mutual learning among civilizations.

2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. Chinese President Xi Jinping has recently wrapped up his state visit to Brazil after attending the 19th G20 Leaders' Summit in Rio de Janeiro. In view of this, let’s follow Ambassador of Brazil to China Marcos Galvão to dive deep into the outcomes of this G20 Summit and the visit of President Xi Jinping in the upcoming Ambassador Forum on December 3.

Speaker's CV

Marcos Galvão has been Brazil's Ambassador to China since August 2022. Born in 1959, the Ambassador graduated from the Brazilian Diplomatic Academy Rio Branco in 1980 and obtained a Master's Degree in International Relations from the American University in Washington, D.C. Upon his graduation, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he held several positions, including Advisor to the Secretary General (1982-1984) and Deputy Chief of Staff and Spokesperson for the Minister (1998-2001). Between May 2016 and December 2018, he served as Secretary General for Foreign Affairs. In addition, he has served within the ministry in many countries including the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan.
