世界百年未有之大变局加速演进，面对“世界怎么了”“人类向何处去”的时代之题，中国以发展为解决之道，全力推动“全球发展倡议”落地生根。中国人民大学主办，中国人民大学和通州区人民政府共同承办“2023通州·全球发展论坛”，“通天下，达五洲；汇众智，行大道”，论坛聚焦“共促全球发展，构建共同未来”主题，邀请政界、商界、学术界百余位知名人士、学者专家齐聚一堂，研讨具有前瞻性、引领性的全球发展策略和思路，凝聚全球发展的共识。

Profound changes unseen in a century are evolving rapidly in the world. Faced with the questions of “What is happening with the world?” and “Where is humanity headed?” China regards development as the solution and is actively promoting the implementation of the Global Development Initiative. In this context, the 2023 Tongzhou Global Development Forum will be held, with the theme of “Working Together for Global Development and a Common Future”, hosted by Renmin University of China (RUC) and co-organized by the People's Government of Tongzhou District, Beijing Municipality. Under the principle of “connecting the world, reaching across continents; pooling wisdom and advancing on the great path,” the forum aims to bring together over one hundred globally renowned scholars and experts in politics, business, and academia. The discussions will focus on forward-looking and leading global development strategies and ideas, and consolidate a consensus on global development.
