On August 12, Liu Zhiqin, academic member of the Center for Global Governance Research Center, Chongyang Institute of Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY), gave an interview to CCTV-4 to analyze and explain the Hong Kong issue. Liu zhiqin said that the decision by the NPC Standing Committee to continue to perform its duties through the sixth Legislative Council of the HKSAR will ensure the stability and long-term development of Hong Kong society, while also addressing the risk of another outbreak of the epidemic.
