In an interview with RT, Wang Wen, Executive Dean of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at the Renmin University of China, shares his insights about Japan's Defense Policy.
First, he thinks that Japan is manipulated by the United States, and is more narrow-minded. Second, he deems the US and NATO as the most serious trouble-makers in the world, but they disguise themselves as the defender of peace, and Japan is doing that more seriously than the US. Third, he states that the current challenge the world is facing is actually the decline of American hegemony, and Japan is afraid of this shift of power. Finally, he adds that NATO itself has lost its legitimacy after the end of the Cold War, and NATO should withdraw from the stage of history.
