On September 15, 2026, the Third China-Latin American and Caribbean States Roundtable on Human Rights, themed 'Multilateralism and Human Rights,' will be held in Lima, Peru. The event is co-hosted by the China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS), Renmin University of China (RUC), and National University of San Marcos (UNMSM), and organized by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY), the International Institute of Government (IGOB), and the School of Global Leadership, Renmin University of China (SGL). Previously held in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil, in 2024 and 2025. The China-Latin American and Caribbean States Roundtable on Human Rights has achieved the first institutionalized dialogue in the field of human rights between China and Latin America and the Caribbean, and established the "China-Latin American and Caribbean States Human Rights Research and Cooperation Network."
