New data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows auto sales in China in 2015 increased 4.7 percent year-on-year, with 24.6 million vehicles sold.
That growth rate in the world`s largest auto market is the slowest in 3-years.
Auto sales rose nearly 7-percent in 2014 and close to 14-percent in 2013.
New-energy vehicles continued to gain in popularity.
The number sold last year more than tripled year on year to 331-thousand.
