Huang Songping, spokesman of the General Administration of Customs says strong momentum was spotted in exports to emerging markets and some countries along the "Belt and Road." He also said significant achievements have been made in efforts to diversify trade partners.
"In the first three quarters of 2015, the EU, US and ASEAN wre China`s top three trading partners and our bilateral trade with the EU, US and ASEAN reached 2.59 trillion yuan, 2.54 trillion yuan and 2.11 trillion yuan respectively.....Exports to the countries along the "Belt and Road" such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Egypt increased by 22%, 24.3%, 13.7%, 9.2% and 17.5% respectively," Huang Songping, spokesman of China General Admin. of Customs, said.
