CPC official says parties along trade routes can help lift global economy.

Political parties along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and Silk Road Economic Belt should strengthen their dialogue and cooperation to promote the initiative and jointly achieve the development of the region, a senior official of the Communist Party of China said.

Liu Yunshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks while addressing the opening ceremony of the Asian Political Parties` Special Conference on the Silk Road, which was held in Beijing on Wednesday.
