Zhou Yanli, former vice-chairman of China Insurance Regulatory Commission

Zhou Yanli delivered a keynote speech themed “the BRI and financial cooperation in the future” during the luncheon. He mainly talked about the important role of the BRI financial communication, the financial regulatory cooperation in different countries during the BRI construction, and the fruits of the BRI financial cooperation.

Yu Qing, deputy editor-in-chief of the People`s Publishing House

In her speech, Yu Qing pointed out that green development is an important principle and content of the BRI. Green finance is the basis for realizing BRI green investment. At present, our country still lacks the institutional and policy design for industrial BRI green development, and lacks common green standards to guide Chinese enterprises to invest in BRI. In response to the above-mentioned problems, the series book “Green Finance for the Belt and Road Initiative” written by RDCY has made up for the shortcomings. The book “Evaluation and Methodology of Green Investment Cost and Benefit on One Belt and One Road” guides enterprises to consciously carry out environmentally friendly overseas investment and standardize the development direction of BRI overseas investment through means of access and rating.

Wang Wen, executive dean of RDCY and secretary general of the CGC

Wang Wen noted in his speech that the books “Evaluation and Methodology of Green Investment Cost and Benefit on One Belt and One Road” and “Solution to Green Investment Cost and Benefit on One Belt and One Road” provide green evaluations, methodologies and solutions for the future BRI trend. These books are huge innovations with very important academic and research significance and provide very important decision-making references.

Zhai Yongping, visiting fellow researcher of RDCY and director of the energy department of the Asian Development Bank

Zhai Yongping introduced the series books from four aspects: First, the green view. Second, the green specification. Third, green financial institutions. Fourth, the introduction of high, new, and digital technology solves the cost and income problems of green projects, so that green projects have benefits and enterprises are profitable.

Zhu Shouqing, a visiting researcher at the Entrepreneurial Finance and Economic Growth Research Center of Tsinghua University, gave a speech on BRI investment benefit and green leadership in China.
