Chen Zhou had a video call with Danilo Turk, former President of Slovenia and member of the International Advisory Committee of the "Belt and Road"(BRI) Think Tank Cooperation Alliance.
On the afternoon of March 31, Chen Zhou, Vice Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, had a video communication with Danilo Turk, former President of Slovenia and member of the International Advisory Committee of the BRI Think Tank Cooperation Alliance, also a nonresident senior fellow at the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China(RDCY).
Chen Zhou introduced the latest progress in the construction of the BRI, and positively commented on the cooperation between China and Slovenia, China-Central and Eastern Europe under the framework of the “Belt and Road”, also expressed willingness to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, co-construct the BRI and promote green development to further strengthen cooperation.
Turk appreciated China’s achievements in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic and the construction of the BRI, and expressed willingness to play the active role of the member of the International Advisory Committee of the BRI think tank cooperation alliance to continue to strengthen research and communication with China, and contribute to the development of Slovenia-China, EU-China relations.
