Ambassador of Israel to China met with RDCY

In the afternoon of April 8th, 2021, Ambassador of Israel to China Irit Ben-Abba had a cordial meeting with Prof. Wang Wen, Executive Dean of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY). The two sides had an in-depth and frank exchange on global governance, international relations and education cooperation.



Dean Wang Wen briefly introduced the main research areas and achievements of RDCY and focused on the programme of Silk Road School at Renmin University of China. He expressed that the two countries should further strengthen cooperation and exchanges in various fields such as innovation, economy and culture.


Ambassador Ms. Irit Ben-Abba expressed her warm welcome to the visit of RDCY and said she would actively promote bilateral cultural and educational exchanges and cooperation. She remarked that Israel would like to continue to maintain friendly relations with China and both sides should actively participate in global affairs and play an active role in international relations, common fight against pandemic, climate change, water resources and public health.


Dean Wang Wen presented a book published by RDCY to Ambassador Irit Ben-Abba, and the meeting ended in a friendly and cordial atmosphere. Efrat Shitenberg, an official of the Economic Affairs and Innovation Division of the Embassy of Israel in China; Liu Jianping, Deputy Director of the Academic Cooperation Department of RDCY, and Xu Li, assistant of RDCY, joined the meeting.
