The Tenth RDCY Global Governance Forum (2024 Spring)

The Second Anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Impacts and Insights

February 24, 2024 marks the second anniversary of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine. In the past two years, as a new think tank with Chinese characteristics, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY) has not only operated the China-Russia People-to-People Exchange Research Center, but also conducted more than 30 relevant dialogues and meetings with Russian and Ukrainian think tanks. Additionally, RDCY has conducted five research visits to Russia spanning over 60 days, exploring 21 cities — including cities in Crimea, at the frontline of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. More significantly, over the past two years, RDCY’s predictions about the situation in Russia and Ukraine have been consistently confirmed. In this regard, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, RDCY plans to organize the Tenth Global Governance Forum (2024 Spring), release think tank reports, and invite well-known experts to discuss this issue.
