U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to China showed signs of stabilizing the China-U.S. relations from deterioration. The two sides also reached consensus on promoting people-to-people exchanges, managing and controlling differences, and maintaining high-level exchanges. To this end, sponsored by Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China, the China-US People-to-People Exchange Research Center, Renmin University of China, organizes “the China-US People-to-People Exchange Forum (2023 Summer)” on 25th June, 2023, inviting Mr. Cliff Kupchan, a renowned American scholar and chairman of Eurasia Group to deliver a keynote speech, and have an in-depth exchange of views with Chinese experts and scholars on current geopolitics, international order and China-US relations.

Speaker: Cliff Kupchan, Chairman of Eurasia Group

Cliff Kupchan is a leading expert on international relations and global macro. He regularly provides the US government with cutting-edge insights on political risks. He previously worked for the House International Relations Committee of the US Congress, where he served as the top foreign policy adviser on global foreign assistance, North Africa, and Eurasia. He is fluent in Russian, received a master's degree from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree from Brown University. He often publishes articles and accepts interviews on US foreign and trade policies, and current political hotspots on well-known international media platforms, and is also the co-author of Eurasia Group's annual Top Risks publication.
