Dr. Liao Qun, Chief Economist of RDCY, Chief Specialist of Global Governance Research Center, Renmin University of China, focusing on economic and financial research. Dr. Liao was the Chief of Economic Forecasting Division and the Senior Economist at China’s National Planning Commission (now National Development and Reform Commission); Research Fellow at the International Economic Centre of the London School of Economics and Political Science; Senior Economist at Standard Chartered Bank; Chief Economist at China CITIC Bank International. Dr. Liao received his doctor’s degree from The University of Oxford, U.K. Dr. Liao was in charge of several significant research programs for China’s National Planning Commission; published around 60 academic papers on Economic Research Journal and other top journals and magazines; 650+ articles and commentaries on newspapers and economic websites; 20+ research and working papers on international conferences; main author or co-author for 10+ books.
