The 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-Laos Cooperation International Forum
The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, which coincides with the official opening of the China-Laos railway more than a year ago, and the opening of international passenger trains has already started. As exemplary countries in jointly building the Belt and Road, China and Laos are committed to deepening strategic cooperation and making joint efforts to build a China-Laos community with a shared future for mankind.
With the support of all walks of life, as China's top think tank for Belt and Road research, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY) led a delegation of well-known think tanks and media to visit Laos on this important occasion, aiming to experience China-Laos railway passenger trains through field research in Vientiane and other places. The stage achievements of the 10th anniversary of China-Laos joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative will be displayed. In this regard, it is planned to hold the 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-Laos Cooperation International Forum in Vientiane Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel on July 5, to release a research report on Green Development of China and ASEAN under the Belt and Road Initiative: A Case Study of China-Laos Railway, which will further promote the deepening of China-Laos cooperation, help the construction of the Belt and Road and the building process of the China-Laos community of common destiny, and enhance the mutual trust and common prosperity between China and ASEAN countries.
