BRI and China's Development Forum (Summer 2021)

Research Report Release and Seminar on "Comparison between G7's Global Infrastructure Construction Plan and BRI & China's Countermeasures"

The final statement of the G7 Summit, held in Cornwall, UK, on June 11-13, 2021, proposed a global infrastructure plan named "Build Back Better World" (B3W). The Cornwall summit marked the start of an effort by the United States to win over other six countries to counter the Belt and Road Initiative. How will this G7 plan be implemented, and what impact will it likely have on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)? To this end, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY) plan to host "The Belt and Road" and China's Development Forum and release the 25th issue of "Comparison between G7's Global Infrastructure Construction Plan and BRI & China's Countermeasures", a series of research reports focusing on BRI.
