To implement the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and the instructions given by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, Renmin University of China, after organizing the “2023 Tongzhou Global Development Forum”in Beijing on November 17-19, 2023, has cooperated with the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) to launch the “Think China on the Road- Global Thinkers in Zhejiang” in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, from November 21-23. Zhejiang is a major economic province in China, and also a large province of private economy, which is the best demonstration place to tell the story of China's common prosperity to the world. The year of 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the “Eight-eight Strategy”. Taking this as an opportunity, “Think China on the Road” and the Zhejiang Financial College have jointly organized an international seminar under the theme of “Ten Years of Financial Cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative and Zhejiang's Contribution”. And summarized a framework review of the Belt and Road financial cooperation and Zhejiang's contribution to financial cooperation in the past 10 years, and to invite experts to conduct thematic seminars.
