Seeking Peace and Promoting Development:

An Online Dialogue of Global Think Tanks of 20 Countries

May 6th , 2022 Beijing, China

At present, the world is in a special stage of "four resonant periods" - regional conflicts, technological upgrading, epidemic stalemate and system reform. The "profound changes unseen in a century" will accelerate during the "four resonant periods". At this important moment, what we need is unity rather than division, dialogue rather than confrontation. All parties should adhere to mutual respect and equal treatment, uphold multilateralism, work together with all peace-loving and development-seeking countries to strengthen solidarity and cooperation, join hands to address challenges, and continue to promote the building of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind, in an effort to open up a bright and beautiful future for the world. To this end, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY), as a new type of Chinese think tank, will organize the “Seeking Peace and Promoting Development: An Online Dialogue of Global Think Tanks of 20 Countries”, sponsored by China Public Diplomacy Association (CPDA) and Renmin University of China, inviting guests at home and abroad to have a discussion together.
