Ana Luiza Bravo e Paiva

Professor Ana Luiza Bravo e Paiva holds a Ph.D. in Comparative History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. As faculty member, she has served as Professor at the Brazilian Army Command and Staff College since 2018, where she teaches in the accredited Military Studies Graduate Program.
Her research covers international security and strategic studies, with affiliations including the Laboratory of Management, Governance and Public Policy (since 2021) and prior work at the Laboratory of Simulations and Scenarios (Brazilian Naval War College, 2012–2018). In 2017, she was a Fellow at the George Marshall Center—European Center for Security Studies.
In 2024, Professor Paiva was awarded the "Young Scientist of Rio de Janeiro State" grant by FAPERJ (Carlos Chagas Foundation for Research Support in Rio de Janeiro).
