Ziyang Liu is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor, currently serving as Chair of the Department of Global Business at Kyonggi University. He is also the Director of the Korea Economic Development Research Institute, Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Digital Intelligence and Economic Growth, and a founding member of the China–Korea Economic Development Forum. His research focuses on international business, the digital economy, big data analytics, and industrial innovation.

He has published more than 50 papers in SSCI/SCI journals and has led or participated in multiple national-level and China–Korea collaborative research projects. With prior experience in international enterprises, he possesses a strong interdisciplinary background integrating industry practice and academic research. He is actively engaged in promoting China–Korea higher education cooperation, international talent development, and academic exchange in the field of the digital economy.
