    Guppy is a former national board member of the Australia China Business Council which provides advice to Australian government at high levels on commercial and political cooperation with China.

    He is the author of many books on financial markets and China analysis. Guppy has regular analysis columns in China Daily, South China Morning Post, China Global Television Network (CGTN) and Phoenix TV

    Guppy has provided advice and support to the Chief Ministers' Department of the Northern Territory and other senior Northern Territory Ministers on China matters.
