The Russian version of the report was released in Moscow.
On July 3, 2017, the Russian version of the Sino-Russian-Kazakhstan think tank joint report, with the theme of "Reshaping Eurasian Space: Common Perspectives from China, Russia and Kazakhstan Think Tanks", was released in Moscow. The report was completed by Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY), The Valdai Discussion Club of Russia and the Kazakhstan Council on International Relations. As the first joint report of think tanks from three countries, Chinese version has been released on May 16, 2017 in Beijing.
The Russian version of the report was released in Moscow.
The report represents the fruit of long-term discussion and research by members of elite think tanks from three countries. It offers a detailed discussion of the topic issues in adjoining the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and “Eurasian Economic Union”, and proposes a specific implementation plan that reflects broad consensus of three countries. Against the background of development of “Belt and Road” initiative, think tanks’ proposals will attract more attention and play a greater role in the construction of the “Belt and Road”.
The Chinese version of the report was released in Beijing.
The Valdai Discussion Club was initiated by RIA Novosti, Moscow Times and other institutions in September 2004. The Club aims to promote dialogue of Russian and international intellectual elites and to deliver independent objective scholarly analysis of political, economic, and social developments in Russia and the world. More than 1,000 representatives of the international scholarly community from 63 countries have taken part in the Club’s work.
