Senior Fellow Liu Zhiqin in the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China shares his views on China’s private economy. He thinks that the major factors contributing to the fast-growing private enterprises are government support, and the hard-work of private enterprises.

He claims that the state has six measures to help private enterprises and he emphasised two points: friendly social atmosphere and the ease of the debt of private enterprises.

He adds that high-quality policy enforcement is crucial to the development of private enterprises, including legal system, market access, and financial support.
