Think Tank Hotline: 20 experts to interpret China International Import Expo

The first China International Import Expo ( (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai on November 5-10. This is the first national-level import-themed exposition in the world. It is a major initiative of China supporting for trade liberalization and economic globalization and proactively opening its market to the rest of the world. Since May 2017, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the hosting of the CIIE at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY) has conducted in-depth research on “import trade” and has deeply involved in the preparations for the CIIE as a leading think tank of “China Pavilion”construction. On the eve of the grand meeting, RDCY gathers experts from China and aboard, together with media friends, to open a hotline discussing the opportunities and challenges that this Expo will bring to global enterprises.
