In this session, how to further promote the reforms and governance on international financial institutions, improving international financial and monetary system, enhancing representativeness of emerging market countries and developing countries, as well as how BRICS can earn more rights to speak in international financial system and global economic governance will be discussed.

In this session, the assessment of BRICS financial cooperation process will be discussed and corresponding advice will be given concerning how to strengthen BRICS monetary policy coordination, improve financial supervision and financial service ability, improve Contingent Reserve Arrangement and establish monetary funds, enhance cooperation between anti-money laundering and illegal assets returning, as well as adding new members to the New Development Bank, etc.

In this session, how China, Presidency of the BRICS in 2017, will consolidate the previous achievements as the BRICS cooperation comes into its second decade, enhance BRICS financial cooperation, implement more China`s initiatives in aspects of Free Trade Zone, infrastructure construction and development finance along with the construction of the `Belt and Road` initiative will be discussed, in order to fortify cooperation confidence and lift BRICS cooperation to a new level.
