On November 19, 2017, the International Symposium on "Grasp the New Era of China`s Development", co-hosted by the Silk Road Cities Alliance and Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY), was successfully held in Park Hyatt Beijing. The meeting invited prominent experts, foreign envoys in China and representatives of the major companies to study the report of 19th CPC National Congress and to explore the development opportunities of the new era, and new trends in the areas of politics, economy, culture, diplomacy and national defense. The in-depth discussions of the Symposium focused on themes about "what impact China`s New Era will have on the outside world", and "What will be the challenges and opportunities to the world community from China`s New Era and how to cope with it".

This meeting is a significant international symposium. After the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), it is the first time that representatives of foreign envoys in China and Chinese experts jointly studied the contents of the 19th CPC National Congress. It aims to build a platform for communication among all countries, to talk about China`s development in the new era and its impact on the world after the 19th CPC National Congress. Representatives from more than 20 countries including the United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Greece, Egypt and Spain conducted lively and fruitful discussions on the scene.
