Delegation of Oslo University and Malawi University visits RDCY.
On June 9, a delegation comprised of members from Oslo University and Malawi University, led by Professor Dan Banik of the Oslo University, visited Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies of Renmin University of China (RDCY). The two sides discussed the construction of “Belt and Road”, Nordic and African countries’ role in the “Belt and Road”, and other topics.
Yang Qingqing, Director of the Research Cooperation Department of RDCY, Chen Chenchen, Deputy Director of Macro Research Department, Cheng Cheng, Associate Research Fellow of Industrial Research Department, and Zhan Teng, Assistant Researcher of RDCY, attended the meeting.

Members of Oslo University expected to deepen the cooperation with RDCY in many fields including the construction of the “Belt and Road”. Members of Malawi University hoped that the “Belt and Road” can be forged as an important platform to boost the Sino-African cooperation. Delegates of the two universities looked forward to strengthening the cooperation with RDCY on academic research, personnel exchanges and other aspects, and seeking opportunities for the future cooperation.
