From August 29, 2019 to September 2, 2019, a research team including Wang Wen, Executive Dean of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies of Renmin University of China (RDCY), Bian Yongzu, Research Fellow of RDCY, and Zhu Baobao, Research Assistant of Research Cooperation Department,  conducted in-depth research in Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen. During the investigation, Dean Wang Wen also held four lectures arousing enthusiastic response.

On the afternoon of August 29, RDCY team arrived at the Guangzhou Book Center. The research team and the management deeply discussed SOE reform and the development and trend of the cultural and creative industries under the new situation. In the end, Wang Wen delivered a lecture "Great Power's Long March Road" for more than 200 party members of Tianhe District and Guangzhou Book Center.

Wang Wen lectured at JNU on August 29th as part of the university's Cultural Quality Education Lecture Room series on Great Power's Long March Road about the Youth's Responsibilities to share personal growth experiences. More than 100 students participated.

On the morning of August 30, RDCY team visited the Dongguan Planning Exhibition Hall to learn about the innovative development and industrial upgrading of Dongguan city planning. Subsequently, RDCY team investigated at Dongguan Municipal Government to share and exchanges opinions and suggestions about the impact of Sino-US trade friction on Dongguan with responsible staff of relevant departments. The two sides also conducted in-depth and effective discussions on the further development of Dongguan and the construction of GBA.

On the afternoon of August 30, RDCY team investigated at the Songshan Lake Science Museum to research on the High-tech Zone. And RDCY team successively investigated Huaqin Telecom Technology Co.,LTD and HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES Co., LTD.. The relevant person in charge of the two companies gave a detailed introduction on the impact of the Sino-US trade friction and the counter measures.

On the morning of August 31, at the invitation of Dongguan Association of Private Entrepreneurs, Wang Wen gave a keynote speech on "Belt and Road" as the first lecturer of "Famous Lecture Hall" . More than 300 members and the government staff attended the event.

On the afternoon of August 31, RDCY team went to Huajian Group and Dongguan Haixin Metal Technology Co., Ltd. for investigation. In the evening, RDCY team researched in Dongguan Songhu Aquaculture Co., Ltd.

On the morning of September 1, RDCY team investigated at Shenzhen Qianhai Development Zon in detail. Then they went to WeBank.

On the afternoon of September 1, RDCY team visited Hytera and DJ-Innovations.

On the morning of September 2, RDCY team visited the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Financial Expo Center, and held a discussion with researchers from the institute. They discussed the impact of Sino-US trade friction on China's finance, financial reform, and financial opening up.

On the afternoon of September 2, Wang Wen made China-US Trade and Economic Friction: History, Present and Future of the keynote speech at the invitation of Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office.
