Zhang Yanling, former vice president of the Bank of China, senior fellow of the Chongyang Institute for Financial studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY) and director of the Academic Committee of the Global Governance Research Center, delivered a speech focusing on the energy cooperation along the “Belt and Road”.

She said that in recent years, the international economic and energy situation changed significantly, the development of global economy kept at a low level, oil-producing countries’ economy continued to slump, the basic and support role which energy cooperation played on the “Belt and Road” was more and more important.
