From June 13 to 14, Chen Xiaochen, Director of International Studies Department of Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY), was invited to visit Austin, the capital of Texas, to deliver a keynote speech on the “Belt and Road” (“B&R”) and have a dialogue with the local business representatives.

In the luncheon session of the  “B&R” seminar, which was hosted by American well-known think tank Stratfor, Chen Xiaochen delivered a keynote speech to introduce the development of China-proposed “B&R”. He said that “B&R” is an open and inclusive initiative, which will bring opportunities for the American companies. And he suggested that the US business community should grasp this opportunity to strive for win-win business interests.

After the speech, Chen Xiaochen responded the questions of the local business representatives. Chen was also invited to communicate with several analysts of the Strartfor to discuss the topics such as “B&R” and Sino-US relations.
