Digital technologies including cloud computing, big data and AI have sprung up, indicating that economic paradigm is undergoing a revolutionary change which causes huge shock facing the employment model. On the evening of March 13, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China invited Yang Weiguo, an authoritative expert and dean of the school of labor and human resources at Renmin university of China to make an in-depth analysis of the topic.

The state of our work now will be beyond recognition in five or ten years.
The reason for this trend is the scarcity of resources. To maximize the utilization of resources, we should also pay attention to the mechanism of human participation to make people happy. Secondly, technological development gives individuals more choices. In terms of government governance, government does not always play an active role in global technological development.
Professor Yang made a simple prediction that when all artificial intelligence engages in doing something, learning may become a kind of job. Students go to college to accept education where they can get paid because the target of education is to maintain social order at that time. Artificial intelligence creates more humanized work opportunities so that we can shift from hard work to work-life balance and integration, engage in more interesting and meaningful work, and enjoy a happier and more meaningful life.
We can create a denser job market based on digital technology. The government should speed up the construction of a new generation of information infrastructure featuring high speed, mobility and safety to ensure that the enterprise can release accurate, symmetrical job market information. That aims to enable workers to master information through one or more platforms, thus improving the efficiency of human resource allocation, guaranteeing and promoting job creation based on the platform to ensure the continuity of work opportunities.
The government needs to establish the system of work ability promotion and transfer. That means cooperating with colleges, universities and industrial departments to transfer the demand of work ability to schools and promoting the optimization of teaching, specialty setting, universities and their education system. The government should strengthen the construction of virtual learning platform facilities and promote the distribution of lifelong learning model based on the combination of the Internet and educational institutions.
The government should accelerate its pace to establish new social security system based on the work transaction platform in an effort to respond to the requirements of the 19th National Congress of the CPC plans of the universal coverage. By virtue of a new model of shared economy platform, workers provide data including laboring time, location, and income that can be accurately recorded by the platform. Consequently, it can take real-time control of work trading situation, make science-backed design to extract the social security tax.
