Launching Ceremony and Seminar on the “Navigating the Belt and Road Initiative” Report
Over the past six years, the BRI circle of friends is constantly expanding. But how does the United States look at BRI? Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY) and the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) will release jointly the Chinese version of the research report titled “Navigating the Belt and Road Initiative” written by Mr. Daniel Russel, former Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, and his team. The original English version of this report has been published recently. As a response for this report, the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang mentioned that the BRI is gaining more attention and given more emphasis, and he believe that the relevant Chinese departments value their views and suggestions and will study them carefully, during the regular press conference on June 13, 2019. In order to better discuss the high-quality development of BRI, researchers and scholars Chinese and overseas are invited to attend this report release and seminar. Here is the agenda.
