As China celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the world is also watching China. Officials around the world are writing to Decision Makers of CGTN to express their opinions on the CPC’s success.

More countries are now looking at China with eagerness to understand and learn how these achievements were made.

Anoop Ranjan Bhattarai, Chairman of Nepal China Executive Councils talks about how the country is able to make such progress under the leadership of the party: “I feel that in China, even though (there is) the change of leadership that is quite natural, the policy of the party has not changed. And it has been always for the people. That is why we can see that the progress is always up. It is never going down.”

Mbelwa Brighton Kairuki, the ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to the People's Republic of China also praises the CPC’s role in China’s development and inspiring African countries. He said that the party “has led to China's transformation from a traditional to an admired modern nation that many countries are trying to emulate. Because of the CPC, many countries in Africa and the world enjoy an alternative narrative and model of development.”

The achievement of the party is also a source of encouragement for Akram Zeynalli, ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the People's Republic of China: “The CPC's centenary anniversary may be striking at a difficult time in global affairs. Were there any doubt, we only need to have a look at the Party's century-long journey.”

As an observer of China’s rise, former German Defense Minister Rudolf Scharping said: “I observed the development of China since the 1980s. And I always understood that China is constructive in global topics and global challenges. And China made a remarkable rejuvenation in the last 40 years, especially since the opening-up and modernization led by Deng Xiaoping. So basically, I would say China is a constructive power on the globe.”

As Danilo Türk, former president of Slovenia, president of the World Leadership Alliance - Club de Madrid points out, the CPC’s global vision of building a community with shared future should be adopted by the whole world: “No individual country can succeed unilaterally. Unilateralism was thankfully short-lived. The alternatives of cooperation and partnership already exist and are being tested, with new opportunities constantly opening up. China's vision of a community with a shared future for mankind provides strong incentives as well as valuable practical experience.”
