On October 10, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China (RDCY) and People`s Publishing House jointly hosted the Symposium on `Telling Chinese Story well, Understanding Chinese Future Well’ and the launch ceremony of the new book `A Promising China: Chinese Think Tank’s Voice In The World’, which was written by Wang Wen, Executive Dean of RDCY, and published by People`s Publishing House.
The symposium was attended by around 150 participants, including experts from Renmin University, Peking University and other famous research institutions. 7 experts including Wu Xiaoqiu, Vice President of Renmin University of China, Bi Jiyao, Vice President of Academy of Macroeconomic Research at National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Cao Heping, Professor at the School of Economic of Peking University, Jia Kang, Former Director of Research Institute for Fiscal Science at Ministry of Finance, Fang Ning, Director of the Institute of Political Science at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Yang Guangbin, Director of School of International Studies at Renmin University of China, and Zhao Lei, Professor of Institute of International Strategic Studies at Central Party School of the Communist Party of China, had in-depth discussion on the following two topics: “Is the Future of Chinese Economy Optimistic?” and “How to View the Future Development of Chinese Politics?”
