On April 10, a 14-member delegation led by Richard Gilbert Quick, Chairman of the US-Asia Foundation and the former US Army Brigadier General, including several senior assistants of the US Congressman, visited Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies of Renmin University of China (RDCY). Both sides exchanged their views on Sino-US relations, especially the relations in the Trump era and the development of the economy and trade between two countries.

The members who joined the discussion included Liu Zhiqin, Former Chief Representative of the Beijing Branch of Zürcher Kantonal Bank and Senior Fellow of RDCY, Wang Wen, the Executive Dean of RDCY, Chen Xiaochen, Director of International Studies Department, Chen Chenchen, Deputy Director of Macro Research Department, and Cui Yue, Executive Editor-in-Chief of Information Center of RDCY.
Chen Chenchen briefed the research results achieved by the survey group of Renmin University of China in America from the April 2 to 5 at the beginning of the meeting. The members of the delegation express their interests in the survey group’s findings and impressive viewpoints.
Then the two sides discussed the hot issues such as Korean Peninsula’s nuclear issue, Xi-Trump summit and “Belt and Road”.
