Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Norway over 70 years ago, the bilateral relations have witnessed robust development. In September 2024, the leaders of China and Norway jointly signed a joint statement on establishing a green transformation dialogue, injecting new impetus into the cooperation between the two countries in the fields of green economy and sustainable development. Norway, with its advanced concepts and cutting-edge technologies in renewable energy, clean technology, marine energy, environmental protection technology, offshore wind power, and other fields, has blazed a new trail for energy transformation. It has become a model country in green transformation practices and provided valuable lessons for countries around the world. Against this backdrop, the No.7 of "Ambassador Forum - RDCY Forum for Area Studies” invites H.E. Mr. Vebjørn Dysvik, Ambassador of Norway to China, to visit Renmin University of China on March 20 and deliver a speech. He will share Norway's valuable experiences in green and low-carbon transition and look ahead to a green future of sustainable development for China and Norway working together.
